Dear Spring and Summer,
I’ve had enough. Spring “officially” started last week and we get a snow storm in Maryland on Monday instead. SNOW STORM. I’m talking 3-4 inches after a winter of no snow. Now if you don’t get your act together…you’re going to cause this dangerously pale woman to resort to drastic measures. I have
🔸St.Tropez tanning products
🔸Sally Hansen fake leg spray
🔸A tanning mitt
🔸Rimmel London and Guerlain bronzers
🔸Soap and glory exfoliator
And I know (for the most part…) how to use them. Get it together Mother Nature….you’re not cute. My windows beg to be down…and I want to play “Party in the USA” on blast. I need this.
Armed and Ready,
Pale kid for life
Ps…here we have Elphie “helping” set up my products. She’s really involved in the blogging process.
I guess playing with green last weekend had its benefits! I found out last week that we had to go all out green for st.paddys day. The thing that sucked was I had to be in to open at 9am…and if I’m being real with you I’m not particularly good at being a morning person. Creative juices don’t really flow that early…but I planned it out a bit the night before and I think it turned out well!
My mornings on the weekend have been going like this:
💓Figure out how much longer I can hits snooze and still pull off a full face of make up
💓Wake and curse
💓Throw myself together
💓Admire how I managed x,y,and z in 30-45mins
As many of you may or may not know- make up is my part time job. For my full time, I work at a…high density library of sorts for the DC area. With that sometimes I get to travel into the city and visit libraries and learner attend meetings. I love feeling slightly metropolitan for a day…nice break from the normal ness that suburbia has to offer. Every time I visit a city…I get the feeling that I could live there. I could be a metropolitan lady, catching cabs and buses, walking everywhere, jay walking a little bit…and eating a random pretzel from a street vender or food truck just because the mood hit me right… Or just popping into a Starbucks to have a good read with some tea.
